Selling my beautiful satin mermaid gown from Demetrios! It is the high-end version of Maggie Sottero's "Adorae" and is absolutely stunning. The gown is diamond white (so slightly off-white) charmeuse satin with a strapless sweetheart neckline, ruching throughout, a rhinestone/pearl/beaded belt applique with matching applique on right hip, where ruching gathers. It has a corset back which I loved because I was able to get the hour glass shape that I wanted! With shoes, I stood 5?-6? tall and measure 35? at the chest, and 32? at the waist. The corset gives you wiggle room though which was great.
My wedding was in June 2013 and the dress has been professionally cleaned since then. It is in perfect condition– there was not any damage to the dress whatsoever. The only significant alteration that I had done to the dress was the tie-bustle underneath the dress, so when the dress is bustled, the back looks just like the front with the fabric bubbling underneath.
I am sad to sell it but I know one day my future daughter will want her own dress just like I did.
